Last Friday, February 5, 2016, a road show for the project on the Khabarovsk bypass highway took place in Moscow.
The governor of Khabarovsk Region, Vyacheslav Shport, introduced the project to Russian and foreign investors and spoke about its features, goals and specifics of implementation.
The meeting was attended by the management of the Russian Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor), representatives of major foreign and Russian companies, key Russian financial organizations and major companies in the road and construction sector. After the general road show, individual meetings were held with interested investors.
A four-lane highway is designed to take all transit traffic away from the city center. The beginning of construction is planned for next year. Financing for the project will be raised from the federal and regional budgets.
It should be noted that not only Russian and Asian investors attended, but also European companies. The Khabarovsk bypass highway will be among the first examples of public-private partnership in the Russian Far East region. The highway will provide access to 3 other federal highways.
A tender for constructing the highway under a concession agreement will be announced this March.
Capital Legal Services provides legal support for the project and has broad experience in supporting large-scale PPP investment projects.
Moreover, Capital Legal Services has successfully rendered support for such projects as financing and constructing the Central Part of the Western High-Speed Diameter under a PPP agreement entered into with St. Petersburg, constructing a bridge over the River Lena near Yakutsk under a concession agreement, reconstructing Pulkovo Airport as official legal advisor of St. Petersburg and JSC Airport Pulkovo, as well as supporting other PPP projects of social importance.
