Capital Legal Services successfully held a business breakfast on the subject of “Prospects of the ‘fourth anti-trust package.’ What shall companies expect and be prepared for?” This meeting became a sequel to a series of events dedicated to the relevant aspects of the Russian legislation.
Denis Gavrilov, Deputy Head of Legal Department of the Federal Antitrust Service (the ‘FAS of Russia’), Irina Akimova, Of Counsel of the Antitrust Practice and Natalia Rossikhina, Attorney, from Capital Legal Services, took part in the meeting.
During the discussion, the participants considered the amendments of antitrust legislation in connection with the coming adoption of the “fourth antitrust package,” analyzed amendments, which have already taken effect, and discussed how the proposed amendments will impact business.
Participants of the business breakfast highly appreciated the importance and the level of this meeting. Such an open dialog allows exchanging opinions with colleagues and finding solutions for the issues arising in daily practice.
Guests of the business breakfast expressed a high opinion of the meeting: “We are thankful to CLS for the efforts on organizing the direct dialog with representatives of the FAS of Russia. Such meetings provide the possibility not only to learn the position of the antitrust authority, but also to provide comments concerning the changes from the market participants’ point of view,” said Elena Sidorova, Senior Counsel of Johnson & Johnson. “Such meetings allow staying informed about the dynamically developing antitrust legislation,” added Evgenia Solomentseva, Counsel of RICOH Rus.
