Our European colleagues in the lawsuit were able to justify the calculation of the highest average fair price per Credit Suisse share as compared to similar lawsuits. The calculated average price determines the overall amount of the claims on paying compensation and will be the reference point for the court when announcing its ruling and for UBS if an amicable settlement is reached.

As of now, given the procedural timeframes, filing a new lawsuit against UBS is impossible, and the only way for a shareholder whose rights were violated to enjoy protection in court is to join a lawsuit that has already been filed. Joining a lawsuit will allow to exercise the right to compensation if the claim is granted.
