We are pleased to announce that starting January 1, 2024 Dmitry Churin, Partner and Head of the Corporate practice at CLS, takes up the position of Senior Partner.

Dmitry has been advising Russian and foreign clients for over 20 years in such industries as energy, oil & gas, financial services, industrial production and trade. He joined CLS more than 15 years ago as paralegal and has worked his way up to senior partner.

His focus is on issues of entering the Russian market, implementing investment projects, acquiring property complexes and enterprises, as well as on restructuring business. He provides legal support at all stages of major transactions: from due diligence and initial negotiations to closing and integration of assets into the client’s business.

The Corporate practice headed by Dmitry at CLS traditionally takes high positions in international and national legal ratings, such as The Legal 500, Chambers Europe and Pravo-300. Dmitry himself has been recognized as the best expert in commercial and corporate law and M&A by The Legal 500.
