Evgeny Sysoev is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate and Construction practice at CLS.

Evgeny specializes in land and property relations, urban planning, as well as legal regulation of environmental management.

Evgeny has extensive experience in conducting due diligence of land plots and real estate, as well as in providing companies' compliance with environmental laws.

Evgeny advises clients on the acquisition and disposal of real estate assets, entering into investment agreements (investment contracts, SPICs) and other real estate-related matters.

In addition, Evgeny has extensive experience in liaising with public authorities in the sphere of urban planning, including lawmaking: preparation of legislative initiatives and feedback on draft laws, preparation and introduction of amendments to regulatory documents in the sphere of legislation on urban planning, including amendments to the general plan, land use and development rules, documentation on territory planning.

Evgeny has deep knowledge in legal regulation of environmental management and has experience in resolving complex issues in the field of natural resources and environmental relations, including forestry, water legislation, subsoil use, industrial safety and waste management regulation.

Evgeny combines practical activity with scientific and academic activities and is involved in research projects with the country's largest higher educational institutions.
