On December 8, 2016, the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce (“FRCC”) along with Capital Legal Services held another seminar in Helsinki on administrative protection of business.

Principal Associate of Capital Legal Services Igor Gorokhov spoke at this event and gave a report on “Administrative Dawn Raids by Russian State Authorities – Threats and Risks, Tips and Tricks.”

The report was divided into several parts:

- Possible risks business can face during inspections;

- Practical advice on how to efficiently cooperate with inspectors;

- Ways to settle difficulties arising in the course of inspections.

Finnish participants of the discussion – those interested in doing business in Russia and those who already operate on the Russian market – highly appreciated the relevance of this topic. FRCC representatives who work to create an effective venue for exchanging experience and information also noted the benefits of this report and agreed with Capital Legal Services to hold similar seminars in the future.
