The Interlaw Board of Directors adopted a decision to appoint Irina Onikienko, Partner at Capital Legal Services, to be Сhair of the IP/IT Special Business Team EMEA.

Interlaw is an association of independent national law firms in over 125 cities worldwide. Interlaw’s objective is to establish a network offering unique and privileged global service to clients. For this purpose, about 12 Special Business Teams (SBT) in different legal practice areas were created in the Association. Intellectual Property and Information Technology is one of the most dynamic practice areas for which there is great demand.

Issues related to intellectual property and information technology are developing rapidly, have in fact no limits and often require global solutions. “I appreciate that Interlaw members entrusted me to chair the SBT and I am touched by this fact. Oh behalf of Capital Legal Services I will strive to develop the professional expert network in this field so that our clients could obtain top quality global services, wherever they are,” commented Irina Onikienko on her appointment.

We are very pleased that though Capital Legal Services joined the Association a little over two years ago, we were able to become very active members, demonstrated high competency and gained the confidence of our colleagues abroad.
