CLS has extensive experience advising private investors, sponsors, contractors, facilities managers and public sector authorities in different infrastructure projects, including Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) projects implemented in the Russian Federation.
Our approach to advising on infrastructure/PPP projects is to work in partnership with our client, ensuring that during the negotiating and drafting of the agreements necessary to close a project, our clients’ business and commercial objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
Our infrastructure investments practice group consists of lawyers located in our Moscow and St. Petersburg offices, with support from other lawyers with experience in disciplines across the Firm, including Tax and Finance, Corporate, Property, and Intellectual Property. As a result, CLS has developed a broad and commercial approach to the infrastructure projects, which enables us to know what is required by all parties to a project in order to make it bankable and deliverable.
Among the latest CLS infrastructure projects, special credit should be given to the project on major reconstruction of the Pulkovo international airport in St. Petersburg based on public-private partnership. CLS was the official legal counsel for the city of St. Petersburg within this project and provided legal support for it during all phases.
